Steve last performance

Hello again to my loyal followers and welcome to my first real insert into this soon to be saga on the life and more importantly the geography of Steve Irwin. Steve was a great man and died in 2006 doing what he loved, filming and being wild animals. At the time he was filming for a show that was not even meant to be focused on him but instead to focus on his daughter Bindi Irwin.(The jungle girl) which still came out and aired, obviously cutting out the horrific moments leading up to Steve's passing. it aired in 2007, one year on from the death and was moderately successful with a lot of viewers tuning in to see what was considered the last piece of work that Steve Irwin was involved in on the TV. it was in season two that Steve was still seen on the seen after his passing and he was always referred to in the present tense as not to unsettle and sadden the target audience of younger viewers in Australia and around the rest of the world. in the show Bindi answers question from viewers in "Bindi's blog" sings and dances with a group of background dancers called  "The Croc Men" but most importantly and the thing that would make her father most proud of her on TV success is that she stills puts across the same core message to her younger viewers that conservation is an integral part of our lives and the lives of the animals we share this planet with and come in contact with on a day to day basis. 31 episodes were released all together with 26 of them coming in the very successful first season and a lesser 5 episodes coming in the second season. it was aired firstly in the US as it had been found out that the key money making market in terms of viewership was in the united states with the second best coming in there native Australia. in the US it was first released in June of 2007 with the Australian showings only beginning in November of 2009. the show was also brought out long side an hour long documentary on Animal planet called My Daddy, The Crocodile Hunter which served as a memorial to Steve and also introducing Bindis new show and her new budding career in general in which she would take after her fathers legacy and try continue his dream for as long as she could.
